It all started with a broken clay mixer...In 2016 I was a bachelor's student at Southern Arkansas University (SAU) in humble Magnolia, Arkansas when the art department needed a replacement clay mixer. The solution to this need led to me receive a life-changing internship at Terra Studios. During my internship, I fell in love with the North West Arkansas area and discovered my all-time favorite medium Of wood-burning.
Wood-burning or Pyrography is an ancient art form I lovingly call "my glorified doodle therapy." There is an unmatched sense of serenity I experience when I smell the sweet aroma of the wood as I bring my art to life. The wood grain is an excellent muse. The unique knots and shapes I see in the grain often influence my compositions.
I explore all of my passions through wood-burning, from the strange wonders of nature to the oddities of human society. I have the privilege of living among some of the most talented and friendly creative folks I have ever met. I even married the handsome carpenter fellow who lives next door. Josh stole my heart and brought our creative collaboration projects to the next level. Together we will better our world through love and art.

"Wood-burning brings me back to the wonders of nature, the enchantment of the campfire where the best stories are told. A piece of Wood is more than it's knots and grain; it has a unique soul."
